Advance Screening Program – Run of Engagement Passes

Sign up as a Friend of the Queer Film Society on our home page to become eligible for our Advance Screening Program and to receive run of engagement passes. In 2009, a select number of Friends of the Queer Film Society were the first to see more than a dozen LGBT themed movies or films of interest to the queer community – everything from Bruno to Julie & Julia to The September Issue to A Single Man. In 2010 we’ve added email lotteries for run of engagement passes (complimentary movie tickets) to our lineup as well. Only Friends of the Queer Film Society who sign up for our email list (which is used solely by the QFS and is never traded or sold to third parties) are eligible for these exclusive QFS benefits.
Anytime
Dinner and a Movie or Film Study Groups – Enjoy a screening of a current theatrical release and talk about the movie afterwards over dinner (or lunch!) with one of our QFS film critics! Groups of five or more are invited to contact us with a desired date, screening location and restaurant and we’ll supply the critic to round out your movie going experience for a nominal fee. Many of our QFS members are also experienced in hosting more in-depth film study groups and we welcome your inquiries in this area as well. Fill out the form on the Contact page and put either “Dinner and a Movie” or “Film Study Group” in the subject line if interested in further information.
